For Florida family-law firms · Miami-Dade & Broward

Financial disclosure, without the chase.

Cedure automates the paperwork behind Florida mandatory disclosure. It collects client documents, organizes the numbers, and drafts financial affidavits and the child-support guidelines worksheet, so your paralegals can spend their time where they are needed. An attorney approves everything before it is sworn or filed.

Built for law firms. Cedure is not available to self-represented litigants.

The problem

Disclosure work eats the paralegal week

In most family-law matters, the hard part of financial disclosure isn't legal judgment. It's logistics: getting documents from clients, then typing the same numbers into form after form.

Chasing clients for documents

"Please send your last two paystubs," repeated across weeks of emails and calls, with the outstanding list kept in someone's head or a spreadsheet.

Re-keying the same numbers

Income, expenses, assets and debts typed into the financial affidavit, then again into the child-support guidelines worksheet.

Inconsistencies found late

A client sends a new statement, one figure changes, and the forms no longer agree. Often it's caught at attorney review, or the night before a deadline.

Deadlines tracked by hand

Mandatory disclosure timelines live in calendars and inboxes, and nobody can see at a glance what is still missing.

Sensitive data in email

Tax returns and bank statements arrive as email attachments and phone photos, spread across inboxes and shared drives.

Which version is current?

Several draft affidavits, several versions of the forms themselves, and no clear record of what changed or why.

How it works

Three steps to an approved draft

  1. Send the checklist

Open the matter and Cedure builds the Rule 12.285 document checklist for the case. Your client gets a secure upload link. Email and SMS reminders go out automatically, in your firm's name, and only for what is still missing.

  2. Organize the numbers

Uploads are classified as paystubs, tax returns, bank statements and so on. Figures are proposed into one reconciled financial fact grid, and each one links back to its source document. Your paralegal confirms every figure.

  3. Draft, review, approve

Cedure drafts Form 12.902(b) or (c) and the child-support guidelines worksheet from the same grid and flags anything that doesn't match. An attorney reviews and approves. Then you export the packet and save it back to Clio.

Capabilities

What Cedure is built to do

Cedure is focused on one job: financial disclosure in Florida family-law matters, from the first document request to an attorney-approved draft.

Rule 12.285 checklist

A mandatory disclosure checklist generated for each matter, with clear status for every item.

Automatic client follow-up

Scheduled email and SMS reminders that ask only for missing documents and stop once they arrive.

Secure client upload portal

Clients upload through a secure link instead of email attachments, and you don't have to set up accounts for them.

Document intake & classification

Paystubs, tax returns and bank statements sorted by type and period, with gaps flagged.

Reconciled financial fact grid

One source of truth for income, expenses, assets and debts. Every figure traces back to a document.

Financial affidavits

Drafts of Form 12.902(b) (short form) and 12.902(c) (long form) prepared from the confirmed grid.

Child-support guidelines worksheet

Populated from the same numbers as the affidavit, so the two stay aligned.

Cross-form consistency

Change a figure once and every dependent form updates. Mismatches are flagged before export.

Deadline tracking

Disclosure due dates on one list, with tasks you can push to your practice management system.

Who it's for

Built for boutique family-law firms

Designed for firms with 2 to 15 attorneys and at least one paralegal handling financial disclosure.

Managing partners

More matters handled without adding headcount, and a clear view of where each case stands on disclosure. Fixed subscription pricing, never a share of fees.

Attorneys

Drafts that arrive consistent across forms, with every number traceable to a document. Review what changed between versions, then approve with a recorded sign-off.

Paralegals

Less time chasing clients and re-typing numbers. One list of what's outstanding, reminders that go out on their own, and forms that update when the facts do.

Attorney in control

Your attorneys decide. Cedure does the paperwork.

Cedure is software, not a law firm. It prepares drafts for attorney review and never gives legal advice. It is designed to fit the supervision your firm already provides for nonlawyer work under the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar.

  • Approval before anything is sworn or filed. Nothing leaves Cedure as final without an attorney's sign-off. The approving attorney, the time and the version are recorded.
  • A human confirms every figure. Cedure proposes numbers from documents, and your team confirms them. Each figure shows its source.
  • Client messages ask for documents, nothing more. Reminders go out in your firm's name, use templates you approve, and never give legal advice.
  • A full audit trail. Requests, uploads, edits and approvals are logged for each matter.
  • Law firms only. Cedure is sold only to law firms and is not offered to self-represented litigants.

Built for Florida family law

Florida forms and rules, not a 50-state template library

Cedure starts with Florida only, so the checklists, forms and deadlines are built around the rules your firm actually works under.

Rule 12.285 mandatory disclosure

Checklists and deadlines follow Florida Family Law Rule of Procedure 12.285.

Form 12.902(b) & 12.902(c)

Short-form and long-form Family Law Financial Affidavits, drafted from confirmed figures.

Child-support guidelines worksheet

Kept consistent with the financial affidavit, so a changed figure can't break one without the other.

South Florida first

We're starting with firms in Miami-Dade (11th Circuit) and Broward (17th Circuit).

Security

Designed for sensitive financial records

Your clients' tax returns and bank statements deserve careful handling. Here is how Cedure is built, stated plainly.

Hosted in the United States

Customer data is stored and processed in a US region of Microsoft Azure.

Encrypted in transit and at rest

Connections use TLS, and stored data is encrypted. The most sensitive fields, such as Social Security and account numbers, get extra protection.

Access controls

Multi-factor authentication, role-based permissions within your firm, and logged, least-privilege administrative access.

Audit logging

Views, downloads, edits and approvals are recorded, so you can see who did what on each matter.

Your data stays yours

Your firm owns its data. You can export it, and it is deleted when you leave. Your client data is not used to train AI models.

Straight answers

Cedure is operated by an Israeli company. Data stays in the US, and authorized personnel may access it remotely from Israel for support only, with multi-factor authentication and logged sessions.

What we don't claim: Cedure is an early-stage company. We do not currently hold SOC 2 or any other third-party security certification, and we will not say we do until an audit is complete. We're happy to walk through our security practices and answer your firm's questionnaire.

Integrations

Works with Clio

Cedure sits alongside your practice management system rather than replacing it. Your matters, calendars and billing stay where they are.

  • Start from a Clio matter. Parties, children and case details come in, so nobody re-types them.
  • Save back to the matter. Approved drafts and documents are written back to Clio, and deadlines can be pushed as tasks.
  • E-filing stays with your current tool. Export the packet and file through your usual Florida e-filing workflow.

Clio Smokeball: planned

Clio and Smokeball are trademarks of their respective owners. Cedure is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

FAQ

Common questions

Who can use Cedure?

Cedure is built for law firms only, specifically family-law firms in Florida. We don't sell to or serve self-represented litigants, and Cedure is not a do-it-yourself divorce tool. If you are going through a divorce, please talk to a Florida family-law attorney.

Does Cedure give legal advice or file documents with the court?

No. Cedure prepares drafts for attorney review. An attorney at your firm approves everything before it is sworn or filed, and filing happens through your firm's existing e-filing workflow.

Which forms does Cedure cover?

The initial focus is Florida financial disclosure: the Rule 12.285 mandatory disclosure checklist, Family Law Financial Affidavits (Form 12.902(b) short form and 12.902(c) long form), and the child-support guidelines worksheet. We'll add forms based on what founding firms need most.

What happens when Florida changes its forms?

Starting October 1, 2026, Florida's family-law forms are being redesignated as Florida Supreme Court Approved Family Law Forms. Cedure tracks the form version behind every draft and is built to update forms quickly when they change.

Do our clients need to create an account?

No. Clients receive a secure upload link, sent in your firm's name, and see only the documents requested from them. If you prefer to collect documents yourself, your team can upload them directly.

Where is our data stored, and who can access it?

Customer data is hosted in a US region of Microsoft Azure. Access within your firm is role-based. Cedure is operated by an Israeli company, and authorized Cedure personnel may access data remotely from Israel for support only, using multi-factor authentication and logged sessions. See the Security section.

Are you SOC 2 certified?

Not today. Cedure is early stage and doesn't hold SOC 2 or other third-party certifications yet. We'll walk you through our security practices and answer your firm's security questionnaire honestly.

Which practice management systems do you work with?

Cedure works with Clio. A Smokeball integration is planned. If your firm uses something else, tell us in the form above.

What does the pilot cost?

The founding-firm pilot is a paid, fixed-fee 90-day program. We never charge a percentage of fees or recoveries. PLACEHOLDER: pilot fee

We're outside Miami-Dade and Broward. Can we join?

The Florida forms are statewide, but we're starting with firms in Miami-Dade and Broward so we can support them closely. Get in touch anyway and we'll let you know when we expand.

Spend less time chasing documents and more time on the case.

Founding-firm spots are limited to 3 to 5 South Florida family-law firms.
